Overview


This successful international distribution company based near Bracknell are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join their team to cover maternity on a 12 month fixed term contract with a strong possibility of going permanent at the end of this period.


This is a full-time office-based role and would suit someone with international bookkeeping experience for sales and purchases in the product sector.


Bookkeeper - About the Role


Responsible for recording and maintaining all the business's financial transactions through accurate data entry, processing of financial documents, performing accounting work and completing administrative tasks.


Main responsibilities:

  • Process payments, invoices, income and receipts and enter data into Sage 50.
  • Update and manage ledgers on Sage
  • Sales order entry, generate dispatch notes & invoices
  • Complete monthly VAT Returns
  • Pay supplier invoices and track bank account balances and perform monthly bank reconciliations and enter exchange rate updates for multicurrency bank accounts
  • Manage and enter employee expenses into Sage accounting software
  • Generate purchase orders, manage stock levels, complete monthly closing stock procedure.
  • Generate financial reports through sage software to assist management team/accountants
  • Assist accountants with administrative duties, monthly payroll tasks and yearly accounts.

The successful Bookkeeper will have:


  • International bookkeeping experience
  • Bookkeeping experience for sales and purchases in the product sector
  • Sage 50 experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
