Admin / Accounts Assistant Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone & deal with / direct calls as necessary
  • Sending out post
  • Data entry and maintaining company databases
  • Scanning and filing documents on our online systems
  • Dropbox
  • Chasing suppliers and following up orders
  • Assisting the Accounts Team filing
  • Assisting the Operations creating documents, booking works and orders
  • Ad hoc duties at the request of management
  • Enter and code financial transactions appropriately
  • Process payments as well as documents like invoices
  • Reconcile invoices received with sales documents
  • Issue invoices to customers based on services rendered and/or goods sold
  • Make and track payments
  • Review employee expenses and make reimbursements
  • Track expenses as they relate to specific projects and jobs
  • Validate invoices against items or services received
  • Check all financial transactions for accuracy
  • Key data into company accounting system
  • Disburse funds as needed
  • Credit control
  • Liaising with third party providers, clients, and suppliers
  • Basic administration
  • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation

Office Assistant Requirements:


  • Firstrate listening, grammar, numeracy, comprehension, presentation, and communication skills
  • Gathering and sorting data
  • Complete confidentiality
  • Being professional and punctual
  • Following and executing company policies and objectives
  • Being reasonable and dependable.
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Selfmotivated and achievement orientated
  • Previous experience in similar roles for a minimum of 2 years
  • Firstrate listening, grammar, numeracy, comprehension, presentation, and communication skills
  • PC literature, (MS OFFICE.WORD / EXCEL)
  • Ability to plan and negotiate

Salary:
£21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
