Job Description:


Join us for your placement year in summer 2023 Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.


A 12-month placement working in the Technical Engineering department to engage with Production and other key departments to design & develop Jigs & Fixtures for use in manufacturing.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

  • The design of jigs, fixtures and manufacturing aids in line with manufacturing requirements.
  • Production of engineering drawings for jigs, fixtures and manufacturing aids.
  • Creation of orders for materials, components for internal and/or external suppliers.
  • Identification and follow through of process improvements within manufacturing.
  • Undertake torque tool checks and maintain the torque checking system.
  • Design for 3D Printing with 3D print execution and management.
  • Creation and maintenance of critical layout drawings for site.
Ongoing training and internal project work on a day-to-day basis whilst supporting department capacity.

Working Hours:
onsite at
Clay Cross: 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 12:00 Friday with 30 mins lunch break. Flexibility may be required to suit business arrangements.
