Job Description:

Join us for your placement year in summer 2023 Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.

A 12-month placement working in the Technical Engineering department to engage with Production and other key departments to design & develop Jigs & Fixtures for use in manufacturing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

The design of jigs, fixtures and manufacturing aids in line with manufacturing requirements.
Production of engineering drawings for jigs, fixtures and manufacturing aids.
Creation of orders for materials, components for internal and/or external suppliers.
Identification and follow through of process improvements within manufacturing.
Undertake torque tool checks and maintain the torque checking system.
Design for 3D Printing with 3D print execution and management.
Creation and maintenance of critical layout drawings for site.

Ongoing training and internal project work on a day-to-day basis whilst supporting department capacity.

Working Hours:
onsite at
Clay Cross: 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 12:00 Friday with 30 mins lunch break. Flexibility may be required to suit business arrangements.
