Description
Job Summary:
OVERVIEW OF TENDER
St Giles Trust is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified intranet providers to develop and implement a new intranet system for our charity.
The purpose of this tender is to identify a vendor who can understand our unique requirements and deliver a robust and user-friendly intranet solution to enhance our internal communication and collaboration capabilities.
The scope of work encompasses the design, development, and deployment of the intranet system. Our main objectives include fostering collaborative work, creating a centralised hub for internal news, driving employee engagement, and addressing the digital skills gap in our organisation.
A robust security system that complies with data protection laws is non-negotiable.
We have already performed an in-depth needs analysis for the new intranet and have worked with external business consultants to design a sitemap that would work best for our employees.
We are now looking forward to working with an experienced intranet provider to bring this vision to life - the provider will be responsible for the overall design and development phases, and finally, the deployment of the new intranet system.
We are seeking intranet providers with a proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying intranet systems, preferably in the charity or non-profit sector.
We prioritise user-friendly UX design, comprehensive digital skills training capability, and a strong understanding of data security and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) compliance.
Suppliers should address specific tender questions in their submission, focusing on their proposed solution to:i) our communication challenges,
ii) strategies for engaging users with different digital literacy levels, and
iii) case studies from similar projects. We are also interested in your approach to ongoing support, maintenance, and data security compliance.
The budget for this project will be discussed with shortlisted providers, and we are keen on balancing cost-effectiveness with quality.
The final date for raising any questions is Tuesday, 25th July 2023 by 1700 hrs BST.
