    Full-timeIf you are a manufacturing or production engineer with experience working in a precision engineering, aerospace or machine shop environment then this could be ideal for youThe company manufacture products for the aerospace industry and are part of a long-established international group.

    Day to day of the role:
    Provide day-to-day production support across various manufacturing processes, including turning, milling, and grinding.
    Engage in data-driven process capability and process improvement activities.
    Act as a customer interface for engineering changes and a technical interface with suppliers.
    Participate in new product introduction activities, including manufacturing process and layout creation, prototyping, and serial production support.
    Lead costing and quoting exercises.
    Define manufacturing instructions, create CNC machine programs (CAM), and generate technical documents.
    Support the implementation of new CNC equipment.
    Contribute to the reduction of scrap, loss, and rework through process control and improvement.
    Liaise with multiple functions such as Design Office, Supply Chain, Planning, Customer Service, EHS, and Quality Assurance.
    Some international travel may be required.


    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    Experience in a manufacturing environment.
    HNC/Degree in a technical discipline.
    Proficiency in CAM program creation and management.
    Process knowledge of precision engineering, turning/milling etcExperience with New Product Introduction.
    NC programming experience for single and multi-functional equipment.
    Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
    Knowledge of lean or 6sigma tools.
