    This important role within the Supply Chain Team requires a committed and customer focused individual with a supplier centric approach to global multi-site manufacturing.

    There will be opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of company products and the Supply Chain.

    You will be proactive and driven to support the business units to generate growth through your pragmatic and imaginative approach to the Procurement and Supply Chain activity.

    You will have responsibility for a small team, parts availability and inventory planning whilst also coordinating process improvements and cost reduction activities.

    ~ The Purchasing Manager must be prepared to be hands-on in the stores if required. Previous experience of managing a small team in a manufacturing procurement or supply chain role.

    Proven negotiation skills, contract management and the ability to forge relationships across all levels of the business.

    Commercial and financial acumen, with sound analytical skills and attention to detail and the ability to work strategically, tactically and operationally.

    A willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals - clean UK driving licence required
    Careful planning to minimise company inventory whilst ensuring that sales order OTIF can operate at minimum 98% i.e.

    Ownership of stock availability to enable effective management of stock levels to ensure optimization of 'right parts, right place, right quantity, right time.

    Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to maximise customer order delivery success.

    Effective communication of any parts availability risk ensuring that all options to resolve any availability concern is fully explored and appropriate action taken.

    LOGISTICS STOCK CONTROLLER REQUIRED
    PERMANENT, NIGHTS ROLE WITH EARLY FRIDAY FINISH

    A leading UK-based metal stamping, laser fabrication, and welding company boasts a skilled workforce of over 100 individuals, operating from a sizable manufacturing facility the West Midlands.

    Competitive salary between £35,000 and £45,000
    ~ Free on-site parking
    ~25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with tenure
    ~ Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 16:30 and 08:30 – 13:30 Friday

    Deliver NPI projects on-time, to specification and budget.
    Key skills required for the

    Project Engineer:
    Degree / HNC or equivalent in an engineering or science discipline (will consider long term experience)
    Deliver the project to schedule and budget independently.
    Understanding of contracts and commercial awareness.
    Use of Microsoft project software.
    Skills/Experience for a

    Project Engineer:

    Understanding of our manufacturing process – press / stamping, laser cutting, press brake, MIG welding, projection welding, machining and mechanical assembly.

    CAD and SolidWords experience preferred.
    My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join their team on a continental shift pattern. The right person will be a multi-skilled engineer with no preference as training will be provided.

    ~ Be knowledgeable in using quality assurance systems and standards.
    ~ PLC knowledge (advantageous)
