    Overview of the roleWe are seeking experienced engineers with experience in maritime & aerospace platform systems integration to join our dynamic team at Delkia.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in platform level & systems integration across the engineering lifecycle. This includes systems requirements capture and decomposition and model based system engineering to architect the system functions.

    Knowledge of model based system modelling techniques with a strong background in practical implementation of MBSE practices at platform & system level.

    The candidate should be conversant with various industry standards and their implementation on engineering projects.
    Key responsibilitiesLead the air system requirements and architecture modelling implementation on project.

    Provide subject matter expertise on own areas of expertise, and develop own and others knowledge and experience to develop the capability.

    Implement and influence the company MBSE culture and champion the MBSE ethos.
    Support Internal and client capability in line with model based and digitisation strategies.
    Integrate with safety regime to demonstrate controls to support platform safety case and integrated test and evaluation planning activities.

    Guide engineering teams on the integration of requirements into MBSE systemProvide day to day governance in alignment with industry and client standards and practices.

    Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and project teams to address system integration queries and ensure that platform considerations are integrated throughout project lifecycles.

    Remain current of industry developments in system certification and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization and wider industry.

    Mentor engineers across the discipline and wider engineering teams and contribute to their professional development as well as their own.


    Qualifications & Skills:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, systems engineering, or a related field.
    Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) or equivalent.
    Familiarity with model based systems engineering toolsets and standards e.g. SYSML, DS CAMEO, Rationale Rhapsody, PTC Integrity Modeller, Statemate, Simulink, DOORS.Knowledge of product lifecycle management toolsets e.g.

    Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, DS Enovia, PCMS.Demonstrable experience in systems integration at platform and / or systems level, with a focus on the early lifecycle startup and implementation of configuration management systems.

    Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide, mentor and develop teams.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to system architecture.
    Flexibility to adapt to different sectors and work environments.
    Dedication to quality, configuration, reliability, security and safety with a data and evidence driven mindset.


    Preferred Skills:
    Ideally familiar with System Engineering standards e.g ISO 15288 & ISO Avionics or Maritime C&I background.

    Experience in other relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., ARP 4754 / 4761, DO 254 , DO-178C).Deep understanding of Industry related standards e.g.

    Def Stan 00-970, CS 23, 25, Def Stan 07-085, Mil-HDBK-516 for Platform certification within the Aerospace sector.
    Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role as a Platform System Integrator.
