Role Profile:
Site Project Manager - Arion

Reporting to:
Operations Manager - Futures


Role Summary:


In this business critical role, you will provide support to the Futures Project team specifically the new Slip Factory Development - Project Arion in Nostell, Wakefield.


As our Site Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Project Definition and Specification
  • Management of tendering and bid processes
  • Project planning, cost analysis and budget preparation
  • Contract definition and construction
  • Project Management including CDM requirements
  • Project commissioning
  • Leading the planning and implementation of projects
  • Defining projects scope and goals.
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines
  • Coordinating project staff
  • Resource planning and allocation
  • Quality assurance
  • Carrying out risk assessment
  • Managing project administration, including all documentation
  • Meeting budgetary objectives
  • Reporting regularly to senior management
  • Managing client relationships
  • Tracking project performance
  • Project evaluations and results measurement

As our Site Project Manager, we would like you to have:

  • A recognised degree qualification, preferably in mechanical, civil, structural or process engineering
  • Demonstrable experience of the planning and management of complex engineering projects, including CDM regulations
  • Project management experience in a manufacturing environment, Prince2 (or equivalent) qualified
  • Experience of, and commitment to, working within an environment of continuous improvement
  • NEBOSH Certification
