    Job Description:
    They are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join their dynamic team in Cheshire (hybrid working). As a WordPress Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites for their clients, ensuring high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web experiences.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
    • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to translate design mockups and wireframes into fully functional websites.
    • Optimise website performance, speed, and security, implementing caching mechanisms, CDN integration, and security best practices.
    • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing WordPress websites, including troubleshooting issues and implementing updates and enhancements.
    • Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to improve website performance and user experience.
    • Collaborate with the SEO team to implement on-page SEO best practices and optimise website content for search engines.

    • Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to improve website performance and user experience.
    • Collaborate with the SEO team to implement on-page SEO best practices and optimise website content for search engines.
    • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress-based projects.
    • Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development, including custom theme development from scratch.
    • Experience with WordPress APIs, hooks, and filters, as well as popular WordPress plugins and frameworks.
    • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and code collaboration tools like GitHub or Bitbucket.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).
