Are you great at working in partnership and delivering results across a range of priorities to help prevent homelessness and assist those seeking more suitable accommodation?


We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Housing Solutions to lead and manage our Homeless Prevention and Home Choice & Lettings teams in the delivery of quality housing services for our residents.

This is an important role and will be crucial in helping us to deliver our commitments in our Homelessness & Rough Sleeping Strategy and the wider Housing Strategy


The work will be diverse, exciting, and challenging and you will be working with a talented, professional group of staff that are dedicated, positive and focused on making a difference to the local community.

We have an ambitious programme to develop housing solutions for those facing homelessness and /or seeking more suitable accommodation, with an emphasis on early intervention and prevention.

You will help us to continue to develop and drive forward a programme of initiatives to improve the outcomes for a wide range of households.


You will be a member of the Adult Social Services & Housing Solutions Directorate Senior Management Team and the post will report to the Principal Head of Commissioning, Partnerships & Housing Solutions.

You will also support the Director with our Asylum Seeker programme.


We are looking for an innovative and motivational leader with management experience of working in homeless prevention and housing advice.

You will have a track record of delivering change and transformation to improve outcomes for residents. We are seeking someone who is familiar with working within a local government environment and delivering government funded initiatives.

You should be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and support strategic partnerships across a wide range of stakeholders, including health and the voluntary sector.
