- Design system architecture which meets customer requirements
- Lead a team of multi disciplined engineers to implement and deliver solutions
- Work with customers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions
- Engage with project managers and customers to estimate delivery times.
- Full System design (from antenna to GUI)
- Embedded software: C/C++, MATLAB, Python, RT Linux
- FPGA and VHDL/Verilog
- Understanding/experience in 5G protocol
- Familiarity with other comms protocols: 2G/GSM, 4G/5G LTE L1 PHY/L2
- CommEx System engineering
- Array Processing
- RF knowledge/skills
- Technical leadership of project team e.g. setting up tasking and ensuring delivery
- Requirements elicitation and solution verify/validation
- Champion and ensure best engineering practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Identify and manage project risks
- Engage with project stakeholders (project manager, client managers etc)
