    Description

    We are Eden Futures, a company dedicated to providing exceptional support to individuals with various challenges such as learning or physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, autism, or mental illnesses.

    We are currently seeking a Service Manager for our Supported Living Services located in Hull. In this role, you will be in charge of offering clear and structured daily guidance and assistance to the local team to ensure top-notch service delivery.

    Prospective candidates must undergo an Enhanced DBS check before starting employment.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Be proactive in reporting any safeguarding concerns regarding vulnerable individuals
    • Seek growth opportunities for the service while upholding the Company's values
    • Ensure proper recruitment, training, and development of new team members
    • Collaborate with the training team to guarantee staff receives appropriate training
    • Participate in new staff recruitment and selection processes
    • Support service users in leading fulfilling lives according to their needs and goals
    • Participate in care package interviews as needed
    • Implement suitable risk assessments to protect service users
    • Design induction/assessment programs for new service users
    • Promote a needs-led approach that aligns with company values and policies
    • Understand business implications regarding commissioning and regulatory processes
    • Maintain a professional image of the service and the Company
    • Build positive relationships with key stakeholders and external agencies
    • Ensure effective communication within the service and with external parties
    • Collaborate with external training and provider agencies for effective partnership working

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Strong supervisory skills to support team development
    • Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care
    • Experience in Supported Living or Residential services
    • Experience working with adults facing challenges like Learning Disabilities or Mental Health conditions
    • Willingness to undergo further training or development in relevant areas
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and demanding role
