Job Title: Project Manager - HPC Cloud Provider Expansion

Location: Stavanger, Norway

This is where the Data Centres are located. We are open to candidates from outside this location providing they are willing to travel to the sites when required.

About Us: Our Client is a rapidly scaling High-Performance Computing (HPC) Cloud Provider, delivering cutting-edge solutions to clients worldwide. As they expand their operations, we are seeking a talented Project Manager to oversee the implementation of Nvidia GPUs into multiple data centres located in colocation facilities in Stavanger. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation in the HPC industry and play a key role in our company's growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Nvidia GPUs into multiple data centres, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Data Center Infrastructure Implementation: Utilise your expertise in data centre infrastructure to plan and execute the integration of Nvidia GPUs into existing infrastructure, including power, cooling, and networking.
3. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and colocation facility partners to coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with business objectives.
4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
5. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of the deployed Nvidia GPU infrastructure.
6. Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements:

1. Project Manager Experience: Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, preferably within the IT infrastructure or data center industry.
2. Data Center Infrastructure Expertise: In-depth understanding of data center infrastructure components, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network architecture.
3. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
4. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and address project issues.
5. Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to Have:

1. HPC or GPU Experience: Familiarity with High-Performance Computing (HPC) or GPU technologies would be advantageous but not essential.
2. Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management, data centre management, or related fields would be a plus.

This will be a contract position lasting 6-12 months with the opportunity for multiple future projects.
