Description
Cpl in collaboration with our client RHCNZ Medical Imaging, New Zealand's leading provider of radiology services, encompassing Pacific Radiology, Bay Radiology, and Auckland Radiology are seeking skilled and experienced radiographers to join their busy team.
Role Overview:
As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality and safe radiology services to our patients, referrers, and funders. Your responsibilities will include conducting a range of radiological examinations, providing advisory and diagnostic services, attending multidisciplinary meetings, and maintaining professional competence and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide a full range of radiology services according to the weekly roster and on-call demands, including general radiography, mammography, fluoroscopic procedures, ultrasound, CT, MRI, PET, and interventional procedures.
· Attend and lead multidisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and conferences.
· Ensure timely dictation, transcription, and authorization of reports, as well as attending to administrative duties related to patient care.
· Supervise and teach Radiology Registrars and Fellows, and provide clinical teaching and coaching to imaging staff and nurses.
· Maintain professional competence through Continuing Medical Education and adherence to legal and ethical obligations.
· Lead initiatives for a healthy and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
· Medical qualification (MBChB, MBBS, MD or similar) recognized by the Medical Council of New Zealand.
· Postgraduate fellowship in Radiology recognized by the Medical Council of New Zealand (e.g., FRANZCR, FRCR).
· Wide range of experience in radiology modalities and procedures.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
· Adaptability to new technology and willingness to learn.
