    Description
    Leading Wealth Manager seeking a Senior Associate
    • Privacy Manager, to join their London office.
    Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the DPOs and Head of Data Protection UK, Europe and APAC to provide advice and support, predominantly for the UK and IrelandAssess projects, initiatives and/or products and services for privacy compliance, carries out Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and other privacy risk assessments.

    Support the maintenance and enhancement of the Global Privacy Program within the region, helping ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws, regulations, and internal policy requirements.

    Supports the region's DPOs with all aspects of their regulatory tasks, representing and deputising for them as required.

    Works closely with business areas to identify, document and track their privacy risks and recommends actions to address them, reporting on the risk position as required, through formal organisational risk management processes.

    Assesses and reports on the privacy maturity of individual business areas, including by partnering with Compliance teams to support the delivery of the privacy aspects of the Regulatory Compliance Management program.

    Skills/ Experience RequiredDemonstrable privacy background, including a minimum of 5 years' privacy experience, and an ethical approach to data use.

    Prior relevant experience in Financial Services in a large multi-national company is desirable but not essential.

    Good technical knowledge of data protection laws, regulations and practices in the UK and/or Ireland, and experience of applying these in practice, including communicating with privacy regulators and clients.

    Excellent administration, documentation, planning and organisation skills. Experience of formal risk management preferred.
