Operations Officer - Ramp, HGV, Refueling - VIP Aviation - Manchester

Both Full-time and Part-time roles available

Full time salary starting from £24,000.

What you'll be doing:


As Operations Officer you will help coordinate the smooth running of our Airport base which includes liaising with aircraft operators, travel organizers, the airport authority, third-party suppliers, air crew, passengers and relevant authorities to co-ordinate the arrival and departure of our clients' aircraft at the airport.


You will be the face of the business providing world class service to our customers, ensuring a smooth transition through our facility whilst safely delivering ground services to our customers' aircraft.


About You:


  • Previous experience within aviation in a similar role
  • Aircraft refuelling Experience
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure in an operational environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Understanding of VIP customer expectations and proven anticipation of needs
  • Flexibility of start and finish times
  • Willingness to learn new skills, with full training provided
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Qualifies to hold a full airport ID
  • IT Literate and proficiency in using Microsoft Office programmes - Word, Excel, Outlook etc, with the ability to be trained on business-specific systems
  • HGV licence (Desirable)
  • Valid and clean driving licence
  • Serious about safety
  • Additional languages are desirable but not essential
