ABOUT THE ROLE


We are looking for an experienced Customer Service specialist on a 12-month secondment who will help grow and develop the Customer Service team alongside the Customer Service Manager.

We are very proud of the level of Customer Service we provide at McCain and want you to work closely with the Customer Service Team & Manager to keep driving towards best-in-class customer experience.


The job role will include:

  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with key customers and McCain account managers to drive and increase positive collaboration
  • Actively contribute and support the implementation of the team's continuous improvement plans
  • Logging, investigating, and identifying trends of customer nonconformances, working across functions and with 3PL's, review of corrective actions. Support with implementation of new system solution (Salesforce) and roll out to customers/internal parties/3PL's. Development of reporting requirements.
  • Processing, logging, and identifying area's for improvement for customer returns
  • Actively support in the creation and implementation of customer Improvement Plans where required, attend calls with customers to review
  • Working closely with 3PL contacts to ensure clear and accurate information is provided and agreed ways of working are followed to support Customer Service
  • Support with the development of the teams standard operation procedures (SOPs), review of processes and identifying where process improvements are required
  • Supporting with co ordinating teams daily activities, attending meetings where required, escalating issues to relevant parties

ABOUT YOU


We're looking for someone who has a customer centric mind set and is able to work in a fast past environment.

And as well as a love of chips, we're also looking for

  • Good time management ability.
  • Confident in PC skills and the utilisations of Microsoft programs
  • The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions
  • The ability to work against deadlines with a detailed approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team, as well as manage people
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good negotiation and analytical skills
  • And a positive attitude to continued learning
