MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in County Durham, with their plans for growth and expansion, by recruiting a permanent Field-Based Electricianto join their team.

The Job You'll Do;

  • Standard Wiring tasks which include the following:
  • Cable installation, pulling cables through internal containment/Fitting glands (includes SY power cable)
  • Fitting isolators c/w airtight seals through using brass bush coupler & gland
  • Fitting speed controls/inverters
  • Termination of above with correct cable sheaths where needed and bootlace ferrules
  • Gland/terminate power cabling to motors
  • Pre tailing light fittings, install fittings with interconnection & switches where required
  • Controls Installation tasks which include the following:
  • Following control panel diagrams with initial support from current staff
  • Installation of control components e.g., temp sensors, diff pressure switches, damper actuators
  • Installation & termination (Inc. bootlace & cable numbers) of screened control cables to above equipment in accordance with panel drawings

About You;

  • 18th Edition Electrical Installations (essential)
  • Open to Nationwide travel to different site locations.
  • Commercial and Industrial installations of control/building management systems
  • Experience of Wiring 3 phase motors/inverters (preferable)
  • Experience in Inverter programming (preferable)
  • Experience working with power & lighting
  • JIB Graded (preferable)
  • Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Team player
  • C&G 2391 Testing & Inspecting (desirable)
