Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


Providing efficient and accurate end-to-end transactional process and will support commercial and relationship management to key accounts, project contracts and related stakeholders.


  • Customer Business Strategy with support from the head of key accounts participate at strategic level in ongoing business strategy planning discussions within our customer base, in order that the national C&I sales business has a credible, growth focused and achievable strategic direction for the future whilst maintaining highest standards in HSE
  • Sales Strategy consistent with the business strategy, continually develop and evolve a robust customer strategy and practice across your portfolio to ensure that the business is able to achieve strong top and bottomline growth through an increased focus on sales excellence
  • Cross Sale cultivate key account sales account plans to facilitate monetization of customers across all business lines from our existing customer base
  • Customer Segmentation and Value Proposition collaborating with the business leadership team and the marketing group, to support a full understanding throughout the national C&I sales organisation of what is important to our existing and potential customers, and what influences their buying decisions
  • Sales Operations ultimate responsibility for the management of daytoday key account sales and customer activities of the business, ensuring a robust and detailed focus on daytoday sales performance that is focused on balancing existing customer management with strategic account management and associated growth of the customer GP.
  • Business Operations working closely with the Operations & Logistics teams, ensure that sales focus and growth activities are fully aligned with logistics and operations capability and provide for an efficient transfer of customer control/relationship where appropriate whilst maintaining highest standards in HSE
  • People ensure that you integrate in to our national account and customer services team

THE INDIVIDUAL/PERSON SPECIFICATION (BACKGROUND AND SKILLS):

  • Previous experience in commercial sales or administration from an oil distribution business segment is desirable.
  • An ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to meet changing customer and business needs
  • Frontline customer service role or telephonebased customer service work experience is desirable
  • Adaptable with strong attention to detail, data accuracy and with solutionbased aptitude are essential
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are essential
  • Proficient IT skills that include use of Microsoft Office base platforms: Word, Excel, Outlook or any CRM platform is a minimum requirement
