Role:

As the Receptionist Team Leader (known internally as the Front of House Team Leader), you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by leading the day-to-day operations of the hotel's front desk and guest services.

You will lead a team of dedicated front of house staff, providing guidance and support to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Working closely with the reservations team.


Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Services

  • Monitor guest feedback and online reviews, taking proactive measures to address any concerns and implement improvements
  • Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests upon arrival and throughout their stay.
  • Ensure the team address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to meet guest needs and resolve issues effectively

3. Front of House Operations

  • Lead front desk operations, including checkin/checkout processes, reservations, and room assignments
  • Ensure accurate billing and proper handling of guest accounts.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to hotel policies and procedures

4. Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on front office performance, guest satisfaction, and revenue metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and incidents

3. Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and motivate the receptionist team and guest services staff to deliver topnotch customer service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a smooth and organised flow of front of house operations
  • Support your team members during busy periods and special events.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in an operational role within the hospitality industry or team leader role
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, guests, vendors, and senior management.
  • Proficiency in relevant hospitality software and technology.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends as necessary.
