    Planning Manager

    Location:
    South Benfleet Hours: 10am - 4pm, including hybrid working Salary: £48,474 - £55,309 per annum DOE Are you a dynamic and motivated Planning professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a talented Planning Manager to join our client and play a pivotal role in their planning team


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a small team of town planners, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
    • Oversee the planning process from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and drive projects forward.
    • Utilise your expertise to provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
    • Adapt to changes in organizational structure and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in town Planning, with a track record of successful project management.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
    • Knowledge of planning regulations and procedures in the UK.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Chartered status is but not required; principal planners looking to step up are encouraged to apply.
    • RTPI accredited degree or similar. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career and make a significant impact in a supportive and dynamic work environment. You will report directly to the Associate Director, who is known for their youthful energy and innovative approach. Experience in a planning consultancy or local authority is a must.
