    Description

    Infrastructure Engineer - Derbyshire, UK

    TH Recruit is exclusively working with one of the UK's largest privately owned Property Development Companies as they recruit for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their Midlands based region located in Derbyshire. This position has become available due to continued success and growth, offering some flexibility for remote working but will be predominantly office-based.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial concept/feasibility stage to detailed design. Key responsibilities include:

    1. Issuing technical information to site and consultants.
    2. Organising tender briefs for external consultants.
    3. Managing consultancy project fees.
    4. Advising external consultants on layout design and site constraints.
    5. Appointing topographical and utility surveys.
    6. Reviewing technical plans for submission to relevant authorities.
    7. Vetting design for commercial compliance.
    8. Assisting Land and Development teams with site feasibility appraisals.
    9. Responding to site construction issues.
    10. Supporting the team with discharging planning conditions.
    11. Coordinating site Utilities packages, obtaining quotes and diversions.
    12. Managing S38/S104/S278 Legal Agreements with Solicitors.

    To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate effective communication, relationship-building skills, ability to deal with contractors, review costs and programmes, and ensure infrastructure compliance and quality on-site. This position is suitable for a motivated Assistant/Intermediate Civil Engineer eager to advance their career.
