- Preparing lesson plans that meets the requirements 'all Swim England Frameworks'.
- Carry out all administrative tasks associated with the position, including lesson plans and schemes of work.
- Ensure all classes registers are taken every lesson and continuous assessment of pupils are happening each week.
- Upholding GDPR guidelines at all times.
- Responsible forequipment set-up, organisation throughout the sessions and putting awayat the end of the session.
- Ensure all concerns of a child safeguarding nature are referred in a timely and appropriate manner, in accordance with Safeguarding policy
- Work with customers in group and sometimes on a one-to-one basis to motivate and instruct them during their lessons.
- Supervise and mentor ASA/Swim England Level 1 Assistant Swimming Teachers as required.
- Hold an ASA/Swim England- SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) and SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming, or STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming and STA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming.
- Be passionate about helping people of all ages and backgrounds to learn to swim or become stronger, faster or more confident when swimming
- Have good communication skills, including listening, questioning, and delivering effective feedback, and the ability to quickly build trust and rapport with customers, children, and their parents

About the Job
You will be responsible for preparing and delivering Swimming lessons to Children and Adults in the swim school program, ensuring the Swim England "Pre-school framework", "Learn to swim frameworks", "Aquatic skills framework" and "Adult Framework" are followed at all times.
