Head of Fire Safety

Are you an experienced Fire Safety professional with proven experience in the delivery of fire advice to Clients, if so we would love to hear from you.


Having acquired multiple businesses in the past year, the WorkNest team is growing fast, so we're looking for a passionate Head of Fire Safety to join our Health and Safety Team.


Why your role matters


As Head of Fire Safety, you will be a technical lead and responsible for ensuring all consultants are kept up to date with industry standards and changes.

You will undertake fire risk assessments and support clients with their fire safety requirements on a regional and national basis hence travel is required.


What you'll be doing


You will manage a portfolio of Clients carrying out non-destructive Fire Risk Assessments (Type 1) and developing Fire Safety Plans for them to ensure they are compliant with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005.
You will also be a point of contact for your fellow consultants providing them with technical advice and guidance to ensure they maintain competence in the field of fire safety.


Working collaboratively with the Director of H&S services and ensuring that procedures, fire risk assessment templates and audits are kept up to date and reflect any changes in the law and industry standards will be another important feature of your role.

You will ensure the constant attainment of agreed individual and business KPI'S that demonstrate continuing client value.


Where you'll be working
You'll be home based, with an office base in Kettering and support clients on a national basis.
