The Bramham Shadwell Federation is seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant who will be based at Shadwell Primary School.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Inclusion Team, consisting of TA's working to support children with additional needs under the guidance of the class teachers and SENDCo.

This exciting opportunity involves supporting a child in Reception Class, whose primary needs are in the areas of communication and interaction, related to a diagnosis of Autism.

We require a support assistant to work with this child on a 1:1 basis.


The hours of work will be 29 hours 40 minutes per week, plus 2 1/2 hours of general lunchtime cover.


This rewarding position is ideal for anyone who is wanting to develop their skills and experience in working with children with additional needs.

This is also an opportunity for graduates, NQT's not yet appointed, or anyone seeking to pursue a teaching career in their future.

There will be opportunities to receive high quality training, delivered both internally and externally, linked to the areas of need for the child.


We are looking for someone who is:
