    Maintenance Engineer

    £45k - £48k DOE

    Medway

    Rotating shifts of days and nights - 4 on 4 off

    Are you a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias and relevant Electrical qualifications and experience in Manufacturing/Engineering factory environments?

    Due to continuous growth, our well-establishedclient is looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their Medway manufacturing facility.

    This is an exceptional opportunity for a suitably experienced, self-motivated, and analytical Engineer to utilisemaintenance and repairskills within a varied and challenging, professionalproduction environment.

    Duties Include:

    • Performing the effective diagnosis, maintenance, and repair on a range of industrial electronic and mechanical equipment.
    • Responsible for the dismantling, checking, and testing of components.
    • Attend breakdowns and keep machinery down-time to a minimum.
    • Working with CMMS systems, work orders and spares etc.
    • Maintaining tools and equipment to a safe working condition.
    • Providing support to other engineering teams as required.
    • Shift work 4 on 4 off.

    The right candidate will have/be:

    • A time served Maintenance Engineer, qualified to Level 3 C&G or equivalent.
    • Electrically biased.
    • Extensive experience working on machinery within a Manufacturing facility.
    • Experience working with PLC controls.
    • PPM, breakdown, installation, and reactive maintenance experience.
    • A great, team orientated attitude.
    • Great communication skills, able to provide technical support internally to Production teams.
    • Able to write reports clearly good written and verbal English.
    • Computer literate with a knowledge of Microsoft office.
