    Commis Chef - Clayton Hotel Cardiff

    We have an exciting opening for a Commis Chef position at the wonderful Clayton Hotel Cardiff, a 4-star hotel situated at the heart of Cardiff city on St. Mary's Street. Location is key at Clayton Hotel Cardiff, with convenient access to the train and bus stations and just a short walk to the famous Principality Stadium. This bustling hotel features 216 rooms, 7 modern meeting spaces with natural light, an À la carte restaurant, and a bar, all offering stunning panoramic views of the city.

    Objective of the Role:

    • Support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality food.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist in creating exceptional dishes tailored to guests' preferences.
    • Collaborate with the Head Chef to deliver top-notch food and service.
    • Contribute to menu design and its execution.

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience in a kitchen environment.
    • While a 3rd-level qualification is preferred, it is not mandatory.
    • Demonstrate creativity, flair, and technical skills in the kitchen.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
    • Capable of working as part of a team or independently.
