Based at the heart of the world's premier insurance market in London, Tysers employs over 1000 people working with leading (re)insurance markets worldwide to deliver risk solutions to a global client base.


This is a new role to support the North American Property & Casualty team with junior broking, administrative, account handling and analytical tasks to ensure efficient placement and management of business.


Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with all administrative, account handling & analytical tasks as required by the team
  • Broking of risks to various markets when necessary
  • Liaising and developing relationships with internal technical & claims teams to ensure efficient account management
  • Slip & Endorsement review
  • Liaising with clients and markets as necessary to organise audits, resolve compliance issues and compile renewal information
  • Developing relationships with clients and Underwriters and attending meeting/calls/Lloyd's
  • Compiling monthly stats for the team, for internal and external distribution
  • Assisting in other adhoc analytical reporting as necessary
  • Monitoring Premium & Claim activity
Skills/ Knowledge*- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word essential
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with strong time management skills
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships externally and internally
  • Team player

Qualifications

  • Educated to at least 'A' Level standard or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the London Insurance Market ideal
  • Experience at a broker, syndicate or insurance company in an administrative or analytical role preferable
  • CII qualifications or willingness to study towards CII qualifications
