    Description

    Teikyo University of Japan in Durham seeks a pro-active and enthusiastic full-time EFL teacher from 10th June 2024. This unique EFL post involves teaching (35 hours per week) Japanese undergraduates General and Business English to KET, TOEIC and IELTS levels, coupled with a campus pastoral care role. Facilitating an online language programme will also be part of the role.

    Secondary duties will involve initiating and conducting sports activities and actively leading with undergraduate integration on campus and in the local Durham community. The work schedule includes weekend / evening activities and summer/winter field trips in the UK and Europe.

    Salary: circa £21,000.

    This post also offers optional onsite accommodation on campus.

    Access to contributory pension scheme.

    A CELTA / TEFL qualification is essential.
