Head of Health, Safety and Environment
As a Head of Health, Safety and Environment , you thrive on providing HSE advice, guidance and consultation across the organisation and the Roke portfolio of projects, on HSE statutory requirements and duties placed on the business.
You will live and breathe Health & Safety using your passionate, drive & leadership skills.
You're a Head of HSE that will drive your HSE team to help promote and build a sustainable and resilient future, and look to continually develop a positive culture that focuses on all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment covering, risk management, communication, consultation, behaviours, trust, training and information.
Roke are a leading technology & engineering company with clients spanning National Security, Defence and Industry through our Futures business and Intelligence as a Service. You will work alongside our customers to solve their complex and unique challenges.
As our next Head of Health, Safety and Environment, you'll have the ability to create an environment of openness, trust and support, where you are the go-to person for advice at all levels.

The Key Requirements...
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
* A pragmatic and practical leader with the ability to lead, manage and develop a high functioning team by example and in a hands-on manner to maximise departmental influence and effect across the business portfolio.
* Strong experience in HSE management systems in complex environments

Where you'll work...
Working on site at our Romsey office, located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking an on-site gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring. There may be potential opportunities to work form home occasionally.
