    Description
    Fast forward your pharmacy career at Imperial. With five world-renowned hospitals, we have an opportunity for a Band 7 specialist rotational pharmacist.

    You will have the opportunity to work across various specialty rotations within the Medicine & Surgery Divisions, delivering education and training and also gain experience in directorate work including management of high cost medicines, new drugs applications, guideline review and drug expenditure reporting.

    Applicants should be a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

    You should have completed up to 18 months of a postgraduate clinical pharmacy diploma and working towards full diploma or equivalent experiential learning.

    To improve the quality of pharmaceutical care to patients.
    To gain knowledge & experience in the medical and/or surgical management for common diseases in each rotation.
    To gain experience of the funding and monitoring of high cost drugs
    To support & develop pre-registration pharmacists, Band 6 pharmacists & medicines management pharmacy technicians as appropriate.

    Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
    Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
    Certificate in Pharmacy Diploma or equivalent relevant postgraduate experience & studying for completion of full Diploma
    Undertakes continuing professional development (CPD) and maintains a CPD portfolio

    Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain

    Appropriate post-registration training and experience in hospital Pharmacy - this must include a solid grounding in all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice (medicines information, aseptic services, ward services and dispensing)
    Previous experience in delivering training and education
    A good understanding of national and local priorities
    Good ability to use computer systems including Excel, Word & NHS/online databases
