IBK are helping a family to recruit a PA for their mischievous daughter This young person has complex health and learning needs, she communicates well using various methods such as a picture boards and sign.

She loves people and is active and tactile. She enjoys watching Mr Tumble and horse riding.

The PA's role initially is to be a companion for the little girl, who can keep her safe and provide fun and friendship for her whilst her parents have time to do other things.

Over time, you will be required to be trained in all aspects of her care including PEJ feeding and suctioning.

Once fully trained, you may act as a back up in case of emergencies if the family are having a vital break from their caring role.

This role would be suited to someone who has cared for complex children in the past, or who is willing and able to undergo the training needed.

The family are looking for a PA to work 9 or 10 hours per week after school. Ideally starting at 3.30pm and working until 8/9pm on a couple of evenings.

Essential

Willing to learn from the girls parents
