An exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager has arisen to support the Financial Controller with the day to day running of the finance department including managing a small team.

Working with an award winning Norfolk brand and talented team, this role, based on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract will involve the following tasks:

  • Manage the day to day operations of the finance department
  • Management of finance team
  • Oversee the completion of the monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
  • Oversee the credit control function (purchase and sales ledger)
  • Full ownership of external and internal audits (including resolution of all points raised)
  • Ownership of environmental and risk reporting
  • Ensure all polices and procedures are adhered to
  • Drive improvement in the use of IT within the department for reporting and internal control.

The successful applicant will have the following skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience managing people within a busy finance department
  • Experience of dealing with external auditors (preferable: experience of working within an audit function)
  • Ability to report large amounts of data accurately and to tight timescales
  • Personable, with the ability to manage and motivate different personalities
