MMP Consultancy is looking to recruit a Damp & Mould Coordinator to work for a fantastic public-sector organisation based in Bracknell.


To support the first response to customer reports of damp & mould in their homes, recording and assessing cases, and implementing a plan for every case.

This will include providing advice to customers and colleagues, to ensure that the right action is taken for every reported case, work collaboratively with colleagues across the business, to ensure that customers are able to report cases of damp & mould, and that they receive the correct advice and that the appropriate action is taken


Main Responsibilities:

  • Deal with any general enquiries and office duties, including post monitoring, regarding the Void team
  • Carry out tasks involving the termination of tenancy process
  • Process recharges on former tenants where properties have been returned in a condition that does not meet requirements as laid out in the Tenancy agreement
  • Attend meetings where requested taking and producing minutes
  • Process invoices electronically and manually when required
  • Liaise with tenants, regulatory authorities, utility providers and external contractors in connection with specific works
  • Responsibility for ensuring the Health & Safety of all tenants, contractors, staff and members of the public in connection with the void works
  • Plan, monitor and direct the inhouse trades' and planned works team on a daily basis using specialist software

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience of working within a Housing Association, Local Authority or Maintenance Contractor
  • A good level of education, numerate, literate and accurate
  • Computer literate with good keyboard skills and the ability to function electronically, producing letters, job instructions, statistics
  • Ability to comfortably work to tight deadlines, prioritise workloads
  • Experience of working in a team within a busy office environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
