Senior Researcher - International Law Firm - 12 months FTC

A prominent international law firm has a new 12 months, FTC job opportunity for a Senior Researcher based in London with a hybrid 3/2 working week.

The post will be based within the Research Services team and will be an ideal role for an Information Professionalwith several years' experience, who wishes to enhance their skill set.

Key job responsibilities will include:

Having a high level of competency with a wide range of databases including Bloomberg, CapIQ, Ion Group products (e.g. Debtwire, Mergermarket, Creditflux, Dealogic), Orbis, Preqin, Lexis Library/PSL, From Counsel, Westlaw, Practical Law
Being familiar with financial (debt, equity, M&A) and legal markets plus terminology
Possessing an analytical approach with a keen eye for detail
Having a well organised and methodical approach
Having the ability to make decisions within clear guidelines and take initiative when required; to recognise when to seek advice
Experienced in organising and prioritising workload effectively
Having a collaborative style

xcellent oral and written communication skills

You must possess:
- excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport and establish credibility with people at all levels
- the ability to demonstrate proactive thinking and a positive attitude
- the ability in answering in-depth legal, market, and business related research enquiries from London lawyers but also from the firm's international offices.
- experience of developing and maintaining portal pages containing internal know-how information
- provision of a relevant current awareness service to practice groups and individuals
- delivery of inductions and training for new joiners, trainees and attorneys during the year as required

You will be responsible for the completion of research enquiries, provision of research resource related training and other professional duties.
