As
Area Sales Events Coordinator, your role will include:

You will take ownership to maximise opportunities and increase footfall through utilising sales initiatives to achieve targets and budget sales for the area.

Taking instruction from the Head of Sales and in association with the In Venues Sales Teams, Hub Team and liaising with the Operational team to ensure exceptional event execution to retain and grow the client database.


This will include the following:

  • Have a proactive approach to increasing booking enquires, conversion and bookings through private booking, exclusive hire, and table bookings.
  • The build external relationships that will in return be profitable to the business.
  • The utilisation of Key dates to maximise revenue and exceed prior year and budget sales.
  • To generate and create clear database capture for all market areas.
  • To generate a network of corporate clients to maximise corporate hire and overall bookings.

Role Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for a dedicated Geographical area (City/Town/Area) over multiple venues
  • Responsible for the area Prebooked sales retention and growth
  • Regular communications and reviews with your venues in your area
  • Review your businesses current and future coming pre booked sales to drive conversion and confirmed bookings
  • Set clear ways of working with your venues to allow smooth delivery of larger events
  • Process/convert all bookings over 15 via the web
  • Work closely with the operations team to process larger booking enquiries
  • Work with the venues sales team/ops team to maintain and build corporate relationships.
  • Work on sales activities for Key Date; proactive calls, sales outreach and cross selling
  • Regularly communicate with all previous bookers and build relationships
  • Attend review meetings with your Head of Sales.

The Person:


  • Numerical and analytical skills required.
  • Influencing skills.
  • Previous proactive skills in a hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Word/Excel and Microsoft competent.
  • Solid experience within the hospitality industry.
  • Higher Secondary education.
