The Role

RoleResponsibilities

  • Assists the bid process by working with the Sales team to engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translating these into Blocks existing offerings
  • Contributes to planned and sustainedbusiness growth through the successful completion and submission of bids andtenders received within the business
  • Liaises with third parties andpartners for the creation of bids and for any joint submissions
  • Works with the sales team to gather,monitor and convert leads
  • Supports the sales, commercial anddelivery teams in development of client proposals for sales opportunities
  • Works with the sales team to develop a pipeline for Blocks offerings with existing clients
  • Supports Marketing and Commercialteams with development of gotomarket materials
  • Leads discussions with prospectiveclients on proposals, including meetings, demonstrations and/or presentationswhere required
  • Drives the growth and maturity strategy for Blocks managed service and Cloud service offerings
  • Works with Blocks Solution Architecture teams to develop Blocks service offerings incorporating business drivers, customer requirements, contractual agreements, service architecture and service management
  • Documents new services into aService Design that describes the scope of services, delivery
- model(s), people, processes,delivery tools, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Vendors and supportingOperational Level Agreements (OLAs) to provide the basis for transition intothe Service Operations teams

  • Defines the commercial and cost models for new and updated services and working with the Business Operations team to enable changes to the Business processes required as a result of new service

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience in design and delivery of managed services propositions
  • Broad experience in designing,developing and implementing service management and service delivery processesand procedures
  • Experience of working within ashared delivery model supporting multiple clients
  • Demonstrates very good knowledgerelating to service management & service delivery capabilities and ITSMtoolsets
  • Excellent communication, influencingand interpersonal skills; both verbally and in writing, internally andexternally, ensuring consistency, clarity and full understanding
  • Demonstrable consultancy skillswithin service management and delivery capabilities
  • Creative problem solving andanalysis skills with ability where required, to identify, develop and implementbespoke service solutions to meet the needs of the business
