37.5 hours per week.
We are a 39 bedroomed nursing and residential home, based in Newport Shropshire situated a short walking distance from the town.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan ahead a program of activities within the Home to meet the needs and in consultation with the clients and their relatives.
Organise group activities such as film shows, quizzes, games and entertainment.
Assist with fundraising activities and events to finance entertainment and interests.
Adhere to the Home's activities budget with prior agreement from the Management.
Support religious and cultural preferences of clients by arranging visits and outings.
Ensure documentation is supportive and reflective of participation.
Ensure each client has an individual care plan specific to their abilities, needs and interests in relation to activities.
Ensure clients who are unable to socialise in the communal areas have sufficient time and support allocated to them in order to benefit from the interaction.
To be aware and comply with Health & Safety, Policies and Procedures, Confidentiality and Data Protection as well as ensuring Equal Opportunities for all our clients.
Organise themed displays and keep all displays up to date.
