    DC Investment Analyst Role

    Locations: London, Reading, Croydon, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast

    Hybrid working pattern: 2 days per week in the office, 3 days at home.

    Salary: Approximately £45,000 - £60,000

    DC Investment Analyst

    We are seeking an individual with a strong technical foundation and excellent communication skills, combined with a commercial mindset and internal drive.

    As part of our thriving Reward & Benefits team, you will join an industry-leading DC consulting team with a specialized focus on DC investments.

    This team provides comprehensive investment consulting services to trustees, sponsors, and governance committees of DC pension schemes. Given the increasing demand for high-quality investment advice in the DC market, the DC Investment team is a key growth area for the company in the coming years.

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Preparation of DC investment performance reports.
    • Drafting reports on fund/provider selection, default strategy reviews, and other DC investment client reports.
    • Researching DC pension providers, investment managers, and products.
    • Supporting DC pension provider reviews, analysing tender responses, and preparing high-quality summaries and reports.
    • Timely handling of queries from DC pension providers and clients via phone and email, with the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
    • Assisting senior team members in delivering advice to clients.
    • Participating in regular technical training to enhance your market knowledge.
    • Sharing knowledge with colleagues within the Reward & Benefits team.

    Experience and Competencies Required

    • Progress towards completion of CFA or FIA exams (or equivalent), or a commitment to begin studying for such qualifications.
    • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn and develop.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Capable of assuming a high level of responsibility.

    Exceptional communication skills.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and deliver on multiple workstreams within tight deadlines.
    • Willingness to manage clients and establish strong relationships.
    • Ideally, previous experience in DC and/or investment consulting.
