Senior Electronic Systems Engineer - £600+ PD Inside IR35

12 Month Contract - Hybrid - Work for F1


We are looking for a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer to join our team and help produce bespoke solutions to support the timing, televising, and organisation of Formula 1 events.


_Experience required:
_

  • Strong background in the engineering domain, with experience in embedded systems development and support, especially full lifecycle
  • Engineering design of products with electronic elements and components
  • Architecting or assisting in the design of embedded systems
  • Key areas of relevant skills include Python, C, Linux, and schematic capture/PCB design

_Desirable:
_
Working with networking and serial protocols (e.g. Ethernet, CAN, RS232); video encoding (e.g. H264) and transmission protocols (e.g. MPEG TS); and RF systems

  • Integration of embedded software with digital or analogue hardware
  • Developing for an RTOS (such as QNX)
  • Linux kernel driver development
  • Using MATLAB and Simulink
  • Development with the Xilinx MPSoC family
