- To develop and provide an inclusive and effective, high quality learning approach, including working with families.
- To openly support other Twinkle Totz sites and Managers when needed.
- To ensure all Ofsted Welfare requirements are met and working to meet Good/Outstanding inspection grading.
- To be responsible for ensuring that provisions are running effectively and be prepared (where necessary) for Children's Centre inspections as well as Nursery Inspections at any time, offering support where necessary.
- To develop a strategy with key partners in the Children's Centres to ensure a consistent and coherent framework for the Early Years provision, in line with a vision of achieving excellent outcomes for young children and their families.
- To work with practitioners to model excellence so that the children achieve well in all areas of their development, including their social, emotional, physical and intellectual well-being.
- To work with early years professionals to draw up long term and short term curriculum plans which ensure that each child is working towards early learning goals.
- To ensure that two year progress checks are carried through systematically.
- To organise the key person system and to effectively supervise staff on a daily basis.
- To participate in staff appraisal and supervisions and to identify in-service training needs.
- To ensure records and display boards are properly maintained e.g. daily attendance register, accident and incident book and the parent's notice boards.
