We are providing medical services to a list of over 11000 patients across two sites, with a multi-disciplinary team of GPs, ANPs, PNs, Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians, HCAs and a supportive non-clinical team.
We are a training practice and like to develop our staff in order for them to fulfil their ambitions.The Practice Nurse will provide and deliver a high standard of nursing care.
undertaking routine procedures including measuring and interpreting blood glucose levels, recording and interpreting vital signs, wound care, adult and childhood immunisations, smear tests and various LTC checks and reviews.
The Practice Nurse will be expected to carry out planned care to our patients.The successful applicant must be flexible, a good team worker, used to working under pressure, have excellent interpersonal and IT skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients and the team.
Experience of working within a GP practice and on EMIS Web is preferable.This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
