Contract - Maternity Cover
Working for an Appointed Representative of St. James's Place. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Wealth & Mortgage Administrator to work for a Senior Partner at St.

James's Place who specialises in mortgage advice as well as other aspects of wealthmanagement including investments, protection and retirement planning.

You will also be in regular communication with third parties including mortgage lenders, insurance companies and solicitors.
You will be employed by the Practice on a contractual basis.

**The Role - Wealth & Mortgage Administrator

**You will provide a high level of administrative support to the Partner


This includes:

  • You will provide information, guidance and updates to clients and lenders
  • You will be responsible for business submission using bespoke software
  • Carry out fund switches and financial calculations for clients using specific systems and processes
  • You will be setting up the clients' annual reviews and be able to produce the review letters
  • Preparing suitability letters and illustrations
  • Managing cases to completion
  • You will be given full training on the relevant IT systems
  • You will need to ensure that business obtained is being processed in a timely way
  • You will be expected to have the knowledge to undertake this role, but training can be given in some areas, and you will have the opportunity to progress within the SJP Accreditation framework

The Person - Wealth & Mortgage Administrator


This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a positive and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a 'can do' working style.


  • You will have previous experience in both mortgage administration and in Financial Services in general, ideally for a St. James's Place Partner Practice, so that you have good allround knowledge which you are looking to expand and develop.
  • You have excellent IT and communication skills with good attention to detail and have strong numerical and written skills.
  • You are organised and able to work using your initiative with little supervision.
  • It is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with complete discretion.
  • Excellent negotiating and empathetic skills
  • A relevant qualification would be useful but is not essential.
  • Ideally you have used the CRM Salesforce, mortgage sourcing system Mortgage Brain and are familiar with various providers online systems.
