Acorn is looking for a experienced Technical Supervisor to work at one of their well-established clients in the Pontyclun area.

Duties of job role:

Ensuring all processes are running safely within controlled parameters.
Establishing and maintaining a clean and orderly manufacturing area through standardisation and 5S techniques.
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring all relevant documentation is completed on time and in full.
Driving performance of the manufacturing department through development of key performance indicators.
Supporting technicians, operators and technical personnel through technical coaching and mentoring.
Working closely with technical team to assist with process development activities.
Completing and efficiently handing over of data collection documentation (Shift report).
Acting as point of escalation for technical queries/issues.
Time served engineer with experience of injection stretch blow moulding process.
Supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment, essential.
Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and techniques, preferred.
