This innovative and forward thinking law firm are looking to recruit an employment lawyer with around 5-10 PQE to assist a busy team for a 3-6 month assignment.
With an emphasis on Employment Tribunal litigation, you will need to manage multiple files and client relationships.You will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of employment law whether in connection with day to day employment advice, or Employment Tribunal claims and other contentious matters.
The role will include:
Employment Tribunal litigation, including drafting and responding to claims, witness statements, and advocacy (at the preliminary hearing stage at a minimum)
Giving day to day employment and HR advice to managers, HR, senior executives and at board levelDrafting contracts, policies, and other employment related documentationAdvising on disciplinary and grievance matters, and conducting investigationsConducting negotiations and drafting settlement agreementsAdvising individuals/senior executivesEssential experience:
A Solicitor qualified in England and Wales with a minimum of 5 years PQE Both contentious and non-contentious employment experienceExperience of litigation tribunalsGood drafting skillsExcellent people management skillsAble to work independently On offer is excellent quality work, a supportive team environment and the opportunity of hybrid working (ideally two days in the office).
