Originally formed by the London Borough of Newham as an innovative and independent vehicle for the acquisition and refurbishment of temporary accommodation.

We work in 8 London boroughs and across a variety of districts in Essex. We continue to buy and refurbish properties and added 300 homes to our stock last year. We also offer intermediate rented homes for local key workers.

Position:

Housing Officer (Allocations & Lettings focussed)

Salary:
£38,745

Requirements:

To provide a meaningful Lettings & Allocations service in line with Local Space's service level agreement effectively accepting referrals from the organisation's local authority partners and administering our key worker allocations scheme.

Work closely with Property Services colleagues and local authority partners to ensure all vacant homes are re-let efficiently within performance targets to help minimise rental income loss.

Whilst you will be focussed on Allocations & Lettings, the post holder will also provide cross-team support such as income recovery, estate inspections, phone cover and general housing enquiries.
