Description
We are working with a Not-for-Profit in Wiltshire to recruit a Finance Director. This role is paying £55,000 - £60,000 per annum offering hybrid working.Our client is a £5m turnover Not-for-Profit based in the heart of Wiltshire, close to local transport links. They are an innovative charity looking to continue to grow their ambitious team.
Finance Director:
Leadership of the Financial Management across the organisation, inclusive of line managing a small team.
Attend Board, sub-committee and SMT meetings, reporting and advising on financial matters.
Oversee the annual external audit process.
Prepare statutory accounts in line with charity regulations (Charity SORP).
Implement and improve financial policies and procedures
Oversee in-house payroll, managing a payroll officer
Review monthly management accounts.
Responsible for the cash management of the organisation.
Ability to oversee both charity accounts and trading subsidiary accounts.
Finance Director:
Ideally you will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA/CGMA, CIPFA or equivalent qualified.
It is critical you can evidence attending regular board meetings, presenting where required.
You will be a proven leader with a background of managing a team.
It is important you are happy to support at all levels of finance during absences within the team.
You must be able to evidence leading an external financial audit.
Proven Not-for-Sector financial experience is desirable.
Use of Xero Accounting software is advantageous.
£55,000 - £60,000 per annum.
