Have you ever thought about working in the community? Are you passionate about delivering high quality person centred care to patients within their own homes?
We have excellent opportunities for you to work in Community District Nursing Services. The post is based at Preston West. Working hours are from 07:45-22:00.
Working as a member of the team, you will provide holistic, high quality, clinically effective care to patients, working under the guidance and support of the Team Leader and Team Manager.
If you are a Registered Nurse or you are thinking about returning to practice after a career break or following retirement, this is the perfect opportunity for you to engage directly with our nursing teams across our community.
All our staff are encouraged and supported to develop within their roles, to meet the changing needs of the service and their own personal and professional development goals.
Main duties of the job
Community Nurses are highly skilled practitioners who carry out interventions which include:-
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills to provide a high standard of care to ensure a positive patient experience.
Experience in community care is an advantage however the post is also suitable for newly qualified nurses. We have an excellent preceptorship programme which all our newly qualified staff will follow.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
