About the job:
We have created a new position of Commercial Advisor within the Engineering & Consultancy (E&C) business to work across the UK markets (Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind, and Low Carbon).

***Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Consultancy and Engineering (E&C) UK tendering, pre
- contracts compliance (KMS) by liaising with the Global Proposals team. Act as the link between the Global Proposals and local teams, working to ensure everyone understands and complies with the process flow.
- Maintain and oversee E&C UK activities in Salesforce. Work with the teams to ensure that pipeline data is accurate and consistent to enable effective and accurate reporting.
- Support others in preparing responses to RFIs, EOIs, SOIs, PQQs and RFPs as needed.
- Coordinating the E&C bidding hub; maintain, optimise and keep the hub live.
- Responsible for tender portal maintenance (e.g., SEQual, Achilles, Ariba).
- Act as a point of contact between Bidding and Commercial teams in the E&C UK business, with opportunity to develop commercial knowledge.
- Administration of existing framework contracts, including. timely renewals, rates review.
- Reporting preparation within larger scale master service frameworks, currently mainly BP.
- Maintain E&C UK NDAs and contracts database.
- Review standard NDAs and escalate issues as needed.
- Seek ways to optimise E&C UK bidding through processes and tools improvement.
- Ensure reasonable care is taken of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Role Competencies (note that there will be a training period to allow for training, and ongoing support provided, so these items are not prerequisites)
- Degree qualified is preferred but not essential
- Basic understanding of bidding and precontracts activities
- Knowledge of internal key stakeholders and decision makers
- Expertise in Salesforce (or formerly CRM & iGate) and Integrity Tools is desirable
- Good working knowledge of Kent Management System and procedures
- Excellent computer skills, especially MS teams, SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
