- Will have an engineering background, working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
- Knowledge / experience of water softener, chlorine dioxide units, UV systems, and chemical dosing plant would be beneficial to the role.
- Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG 274 legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to manage workload efficiently.
- Good IT skills.
- Carrying out the sampling and analysis of LTHW and CHW.
- Carrying out chemical dosing
- Flushing of closed systems.
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring.
- TMV servicing and failsafes.
- CWST cleans and chlorinations.
- Showerhead cleans and descales.
- Closed system testing and analysis.
- Helping the equipment department with commissioning of water treatment equipment.
- Carrying out cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
- Providing support and assistance to training new employees.
- Ensuring to complete onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
- Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 legislation.

Our client is a leading Water Hygiene / Water Treatment company who have a strong presence in the South of England. They are now on the market for a Water Treatment Engineer to join their established team. This role would suit a candidate who has extensive experience carrying L8 compliance duties and is flexible and client focused, ensuring all client needs are met to the highest standard.
